Learn more…How does this work
We are selling ad spaces on a huge 9″ by 12″ full-color double-sided glossy postcard that is being mailed to 10,000 residences at a time. There are six sizes to choose from on each 9×12 postcard:
How do we calculate our ad size pricing
The original ad spot was the medium size for $700. We wanted to reward customers who choose multiple spaces for a larger add, so we added a $100 discount for each additional ad spot they choose.
As an example, one medium ad spot is $700, and if the customer choose to make their ad larger by selecting two ad spots, their price would be $1,300 ($700 × total number of medium add spots – ($100 × number of ad spots added after the first)).
A customer can choose up to eight ad spots, which would be the largest size ad. Because few customers want to do math before making a purchase, we chose to simply add different names to the sizes. Now, for anyone interested, you can see how the prices are determined and how larger ad sizes are rewarded.
Lastly, the Small and Extra Small sizes were added because supporters of our nonprofit wanted ways to help that were more under $500.
What About The Artwork For My Ad
If you already have an ad, or an in-house artist who produces your ads, awesome.
And if you’d like us to create your ad for you, it’s on us with the purchase of your ad space. Our students who are ready for real-world work get the benefit of creating artwork and pre-press layout experience while under the supervision of our award winning production artists. This provides them much needed real-world experience for their confidence and portfolios.
How Much Do We Raise For Our Nonprofit
Due to the generosity of the printers and distributors we work with, we raise approximately $5,000 with every area of 10,000 sent. Our plan is to offer one postcard per month for each area we rollout. This will provide a steady learning opportunity for our students, as well as a path of self-sufficiency for our nonprofit.
We’d like to extend a very heartfelt Thank You to the special humans over at printing4supercheap.com for making all this possible. If you ask us to print anything, this is where it’s going to be done at, and if you are an agency and need a trusted relationship, please give them a ring. ❤️
